Ambassador of the Year
The Ambassador of the Year Award is given annually to an Ambassador member who has gone beyond the call of duty to serve the Ambassador organization. This individual should really embody the mission of the Ambassadors of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. In order to receive the Award, a nominee must be a member of the Ambassador organization with current dues paid. The recipient can be a general member, board member, or a Past Board or Ambassador Member.
Since Sarah joined our board 2 years ago, she has brought new life and enthusiasm to her role and our team as a whole. There are many great qualities that Sarah exemplifies but some of my favorites include dependable, hard-working and goal-orientated. I have never met someone who is more focused on reaching (and beating) a goal like Sarah is! She has worked tirelessly to bring in funding and donations to the Ambassadors and has volunteered many hours organizing donation pick up and drop off, basket making and networking to ensure we as an organization, are successful. Sarah's love of both the Ambassadors and Winter Carnival is apparent through her continued volunteerism and the many hats she has worn throughout her time within Carnival--daughter of a Primes, wife of Titan and now, successful donation committee chair.
Sarah is one of those people who you can depend on to get a job done when you ask and very rarely will she say no, no matter how full her plate might be. She is passionate about giving back and her "can-do" attitude is infectious. Being around her motivates me to want to do more and give back--we are beyond lucky to have her as a part of our team!
